I love to travel.  I’ve been quite a few places over the years.  When I graduated from high school, I took my first big trip.  My friend and I went to London and Paris for a couple of weeks.  Oh it was amazing!!  The sights, the sounds, the tastes.  It just made me want to travel even more.  About a year later, my cousin and I went on a cruise to the Caribbean.  We loved seeing Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Cozumel, Cancun, the Bahamas.  It was heavenly and relaxing. And OH the buffets.  Then about a year later, I did a semester abroad in the Middle East.  I got to visit all sorts of incredibly ancient places with so much history!  It was absolutely fascinating.  I went all over Israel, to Jordan, and to Egypt.  I learned and grew so much!  On my way home, a few of my friends and I backpacked around Germany, Switzerland and Austria.  I made memories I will always treasure and cherish. For work, I enjoyed traveling quite a bit.  To Chicago, New York, Washington DC, Texas, Washington state, Florida, and more.  Then life changed, my big trips sort of came to a stop. I got married and 1) couldn’t afford them and 2) started having babies so I quit my job to be with them. So I haven’t traveled much the past 15 years, but I still dream of it.  To remind me of how much I love to travel and of all the places I dream of going, I have a globe collection in my office.  I love my globes.  They make me very happy. I’m always on the look out for some fabulous globes.

Where have you been? What are some of your favorite trips?  Do you collect anything when you travel?

It’s been a bit since we’ve visited.  Last week, we were so sick.  Ugh.  So frustrating.  There’s so much to do every day that having everyone being sick just isn’t part of the plan.  So I’m sitting here locked in my office while the carpet cleaners attempt to get the throw up stains out of […]
